What is free, forever
No credit card, no trial clock, no card on file at the end of it.
- Unlimited autofill on any application, including multi-page Workday flows. The extension fills the form and stops at review. You press Submit.
- Unlimited job matching against fresh postings.
- Unlimited job tracking. Every role you are chasing and exactly what you sent.
- Saved answers, reused when the same screener question comes back.
- 3 full applications a month on us: tailored resume, cover letter, and screener answers.
- First interview prep each month: likely questions plus practice answers drawn from your real stories.
If that covers your search, it covers your search. The free tier does not expire: the three applications are a monthly allowance that renews every month, and everything else on the list is simply unlimited.
The plans
Every plan is the same Pro. Pick the cadence you actually want to be billed on.
Yearly
$239.99a year
Works out to about $20 a month, the lowest way to run Pro.
Quarterly
$74.99every 3 months
A middle option if a year is further ahead than you plan.
Monthly
$29.99a month
Launch pricing, month to month.
Week Pass
$14.99one time
Seven days of Pro for a heavy application week. It never auto-renews. There is nothing to cancel afterwards because nothing continues. If your search will run past a couple of weeks, Monthly is the cheaper way to have Pro.
Prices are in US dollars. These are launch prices, and they may go up for new subscribers as the product grows; the free tier is not part of that, free stays free.
Your price stays the same for as long as you stay subscribed.
What Pro adds
- Unlimited resume tailoring. Every line cites your real experience, and you approve each change.
- Unlimited cover letters and AI answers, in your voice, grounded in what you actually did.
- Answer memory that understands rewording, so a question you have already answered stays answered when it comes back phrased differently.
- Unlimited builds, each with the full honesty report, showing what backs each line and what does not. The report itself is not a paid feature: it runs on every resume JobShifu builds, including the three a month on the free tier. How that works.
- Interview prep and deep company insights.
- First in line on fresh jobs: alerts within hours of a posting going up, plus the past-24-hours filter.
"Unlimited" carries its ordinary meaning here: a person tailoring applications one at a time will not hit a cap, and there is no per-use charge waiting behind the word. What does exist is an abuse safeguard, set far above human application volume, so that scripted use cannot ruin the economics for everyone else. We can publish our unit cost below precisely because that line exists.
We crawl employer boards at more than 16,000 companies directly, including the first-party career sites at Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft, across roughly a million open postings that we check for closure. The goal is not to index everything. It is to get you there first at the companies you are actually targeting.
Why the paid line sits where it does
We drew the free-versus-paid line on cost, not on leverage.
Autofill, matching, and tracking are mechanical. Once they are built, one more use of them costs us essentially nothing, so charging per use would be a toll booth rather than a price. They are free, permanently, and they are the parts you will use most days.
Tailoring, cover letters, screener answers, and interview prep each send real work to a language model, and that has a real bill attached every single time. By our own measurement, a fully tailored application costs about 34 cents of model usage. Three of those a month are on us. Past that, Pro is what makes unlimited possible without us quietly degrading the output to protect a margin.
Work that costs us nothing per use is free. Work with a real per-use cost is what you pay for.
Whether that trade is worth it for you depends on how much you are applying, and for a fair number of people the honest answer is to stay on the free tier. We worked it through by situation in is JobShifu worth it, alongside what the rest of the category charges.
Billing, plainly
- Monthly means billed monthly. Quarterly means billed every 3 months, yearly means billed once a year. The cadence in the plan name is the cadence on your statement.
- Cancel any time from Settings, through the billing portal. No email, no retention call, no form.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. You keep Pro until then.
- Your vault and your documents stay accessible on the free tier after a subscription ends. Nothing is held hostage.
- The Week Pass never auto-renews.
- Refunds are the one place we ask you to read before you buy: per the terms, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires. That is exactly why the free tier and the one-time Week Pass exist, so you can find out whether JobShifu is for you before a year of it is on your card.
- No countdown timers, no resetting discounts, no "offer expires tonight". If a price is good today it will be good on Thursday.
